Half sizes are offered on many styles and sit midway between the rows above — a UK 8.5 foot measures about 26.6 cm. Insole length is the inside of the shoe, roughly 1 cm longer than your foot, which is the toe room you want.

How to measure yourself

  • Bust or chest — around the fullest part, under the arms, tape level at the back.
  • Waist — around the narrowest part of your middle, usually just above the navel.
  • Hips — around the fullest part, roughly 20 cm below the waist, feet together.
  • Foot — heel to longest toe, standing, with the socks you would wear.
